SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Candor is looking for an adaptable, professional, and customer-centric Special Education Teacher to join our team! QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate, with required endorsements for subjects/level assigned
- Minimum of two years of classroom experience
- Bilingual preferred but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct instructional and other professional activities consistent with district requirements.
- Work collaboratively with parents, students, and school personnel in the development of IEP
- Plan and implement appropriate curriculum with modifications and accommodations based on the student’s IEP
- Document ongoing student progress and maintain accurate records
- Direct paraprofessional in classroom support
- Participate in ARDs, parent conferences, or other relevant meetings
